Stranger Danger!

Wow......it's been a while.

I know I've said that before, but I actually have a good reason. Better than writers block or the occasional bouts of apathy.

I moved. I left the north. I escaped.

My time leading up to the move was pretty occupied. You know, all the work that goes into moving plus working plus trying to spend time with them I care about. And I do care about my northern friends.....even if I never call.....ever again.

Don't give me that look.

In any case, I'm sure you can appreciate that I had some pressing concerns and so this got slotted to the back, back burner.

But I'm back. And I did not forget my promise. There is a story coming here. For those of you not in the know, read my previous post from.....8 years ago or something. It's coming. It'll be there....here....whatever.

Before we get to that, however, I just wanted to say this.

To all my northern friends....

I love you guys and gals and miscellaneous. Leaving you folks was difficult. More difficult than I'll ever admit. You've made the last 10 years......an experience. You were there for me during the bad times and ready to celebrate during the good.

I was made a better person (though still kind of an asshole) for your having been there.

Thanks and I'll miss you.
